Metro will advance rebuilding efforts during late-night hours Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, 2012. There is no scheduled midday track work during Metro's spring break for Cherry Blossom season.
Red Line:
Monday through Friday, beginning at 10 p.m. each night, trains will single track between Friendship Heights and Medical Center to allow for rail fastener renewal, and between New York Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue for DDOT bridge work. Trains will depart Shady Grove and Glenmont every 20 minutes. Customers should allow 10-15 mintues of additional travel time.
