Brookland Farmers Market Tonight

The Brookland Farmers Market will be held this evening from 4-7 pm under the Brookland Bridge north of the Metro station.

The following produce will be available:

• scallions
• garlic scapes 
• red leaf lettuce
• green leaf lettuce
• basil
• swiss chard
• herbs
• blueberries
• white cherries
• peaches

Brookland Farmer's Market

Licking Creek Bend Farm will begin holding its farmer's market at the Brookland Metro Station on June 5th.  The market will run from 3-7 p.m. each Tuesday this summer. 

Licking Creek Bend is a Certified Naturally Grown farm whose crops include heirloom tomatoes, bell peppers, squash, cucumbers, apples, melons, pears, potatoes, and onions.  If you really want to keep your family eating fresh, locally-grown fruits and veggies, consider signing up for their Community Supported Agriculture program.
