Ward 5 Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie issued a newsletter this week highlighting his first two weeks in office. Councilmember McDuffie discusses Chairman Brown's resignation, legislative news, committee assignments, playground renovations, and the Councilmember's participation in the Capital Pride Parade.
Also, the Councilmember is calling on Ward 5 residents to help decorate his office. One picture of Ward 5, taken by a local resident, will be displayed in Councilmember McDuffie's office and in his next newsletter.
