Dance Place proudly hosted the launch of DanceMotion USA 2012 with performances on January 12th. This important touring initiative sends four US dance companies to all parts of the world sponsored by the US Department of State and produced by the Brooklyn Academy of Arts. Dancing ambassadors Rennie Harris Puremovement, Jazz Tap Ensemble, Sean Curran Company and Trey McIntrye Project will convey their uniquely American dance to countries including Egypt, Israel, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Kazakhstan, China and the Philippines.
